Enlargedeu.org is the website of the Project RELOCATION OF INDUSTRY AND SOCIAL DIALOGUE PERSPECTIVES FOR AN ENLARGED EU. General objectives of the project are:

• strengthening transnational co-operation in the field of information between workers and workers representatives of undertakings operating in more than one Member State, special focus of the project is on new member Countries and companies operating in the Textiles, Clothing, Leather and Footwear industry;
• experimenting innovative measures relating to the management of information, the anticipation of change and to the prevention and resolution of disputes within multinational companies in the context of the development and competitiveness strategies of the various sectors of activity and company restructuring and relocation.

The Countries represented in the project by national level workers representatives as Partner or invited participant accounts for 63% of total TCLF employment in the EU25+Candidate Countries.

The European textiles and clothing industry was one of the first sectors to have a social dialogue at the European level and has been a successful example of the European sectoral social dialogue's great potential for development.
